 Vision and Mission |  | The Department of English Language and Literature came into existence in order to accommodate the Aqaba city as well as the country's growing needs of highly qualified graduates who can contribute to the country's march of development and progress. The graduates are expected to fill various slots in different fast growing sectors in this city. To this end, the Department of English, since its inception, has taken the quality education seriously. The Department's mission is to provide the student with the effective means to face life and the employment market, empowered with scientific, linguistic, cultural and social knowledge.
